WRITING
In addition to my coaching and music training, I earned my B.A. in Film, Television & Theatre Production from University of Colorado Denver, and later received the Dean’s Fellowship to study Dramatic Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
I have previously interned with Starz Entertainment and Writers Guild of America, East, and later led a team of international writers as an editorial manager at Kpopstarz, Inc. My play, “The Piano,” was a winner of the “2042: See Change” National Playwriting Competition award with East West Players, and a semi-finalist for the National Playwrights Conference with the Eugene O-Neill Theater Center. I have also written for the television series “Yu-Gi-Oh!” I was selected as a storyteller for the 2023 artist-in-residency with Keepsake House, a New York-based initiative dedicated to live performance. I am a featured writer for the Vancouver-based publication Stir.
In addition to writing, I facilitate writing workshops and programs, and support writers one-on-one through coaching and consulting. In 2024, I co-facilitated the 8-week writing workshop "Embracing the Multidisciplinary Writer: Lessons Across Genre & Form" with Ashely Griggs.
